Anthony David Gonzalez is a ex- American football tight end who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. The NFL's most effective tight ends, and the third best overall receivers, he has been named the NFL's top tight end by the number of yards received, receptions and receptions, among other things.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently employed at FOX's Studio. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season, Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour long NFL pregame show that airs prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET during the NFL season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a two-year $14 million contract despite the fact that he had said Gonzalez would retire after the 2013 season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez was the league's top player in receiving yards.
